Amanzzo, a brand-new luxury, sustainable menswear brand, has launched its debut collection of swimwear, produced using recycled and repurposed materials.

After seeing the impact of plastics on our oceans and shores first-hand, founder Kris James set out to develop a menswear brand that utilised unconventional materials without compromising on style or quality.

The brand’s swimwear is produced using ECONYL, a regenerated nylon woven from recycled materials found in our oceans, such as fishing nets, and takes classic short designs and elevates them through a fine attention to detail and an emphasis on tailoring.

Amanzzo’s swimwear will be available in a range of contemporary colours inspired by the beach and ocean, including corals, deep sea blues, shark tooth patterns and sandstones.

Dubbed ‘affordable luxury’, Amanzzo takes a considered approach to production, balancing contemporary design, high-quality craftsmanship and environmental responsibility to produce timeless pieces at an accessible price point.

While the fast fashion industry continues to negatively impact the environment on a global scale, the brand is counteracting this through its unique manufacturing: taking waste from our oceans, repurposing it, and creating garments that make the wearer look good and feel good, in every sense.

Amanzzo’s circular production model and use of recycled materials ensures that its garments can be repurposed time and again, minimising the negative impact on the environment and ensuring that the materials have a lifespan that extends far beyond a mere sartorial season.
